The Tune Time Singers

The Tune Time Singers is a choral ensemble comprised of senior citizens from throughout the greater Kansas City area. The group was founded and is directed by Shawnee Heartland’s Director of Community Life, Frank Curtis,  and is accompanied by Shawnee Heartland’s Executive Director, Phyllis Curtis. Since its first rehearsal in the summer of 2010, the group has performed in many venues throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. We are a fun-loving group dedicated to weekly rehearsals of four-part choral music.

Although the group has performed all styles of music, it tends to favor music theater and popular music from the 1930’s and 1940’s. The Tune Time Singers regularly sing several musical selections for the Love In The Afternoon musical/luncheon series.  There is not a required audition and all interested persons are encouraged to join.
